It maybe that Chrysler have moved to water based paints on the Crossfire, (I cannot remember where they are built) if like the Grand Voyager they are built in Europe (austria) then they will be water based rather than solvent based paints these are much softer and prone to damage any car with water based paints HAS to be protected as it will sustain significant stonechip damage.
