Hi everyone!
Sorry I have not posted sooner. I got back from Europe in mid August and was put on immediate bed rest. After being told "you may have OPCD, Congestive Heart Failure, enlarged heart, gout and cellulitis it appears that the main concern is Lymphedema.
My right calf has swollen to Popeye size and was seeping badly. Seems my veins don't want to return the lymph fluid back up my body. I now use a pair of pneumatic leggings ($6500 ouch) to help pump it out. It is actually fairly comfortable. Sort of like a Shiatsu massage up my leg.
After almost having a stroke when being told about the Congestive Heart Failure, it was finally explained that it is not as bad as it sounds. Heart and failure in the same sentence sounded pretty severe when first told! I imagined my "enlarged heart" like a balloon just waiting to burst, but found that it simply means my heart being a muscle is now an "Arnold pump me up" size to compensate for decreased capability.
I have swung weight gains and losses of 50 pounds during this time and discovered I am hightly allergic to Penicillin. Hives over 80% of my body and a mild case of anaphylactic shock (had a hard time breathing because my breathing tubes were being constricted) FINALLY I have the right doctors and am strongly on the road to recovery.
All these little medical tidbits take money, so I have been very dedicated to work and in return was rewarded with a killer schedule the last 2 months. I have been on the road during that time.
Feeling better the last couple weeks I was in LV for business when SEMA was there. My daughter "wheeled" me around for a day and I discovered some absolutely fantastic products I will be offering. My Son-in-law is working on the Cardoover.com website and they will be posted there. Forum member discounts will be included.
I have lots of badges and access to grilles right now. I am going to make a list and run some holiday specials. Look for them in the next week.
I noticed there are quite a few PMs and I will get to all of them shortly.
It is nice to be back, actually it is nice to be healthy......Karl
