Default Re: Adjust headlight question

The clips that hold in the headlight are all to easy to install incorrectly.

The first thing I'd do is park the car about 25 feet from a wall or garage door, then turn on the lights, followed by the high beams.

If all your friend replaced was the low beams, then the high beams should still be lined up correctly.

If the low and high beams are aimed incorrectly then you will have to turn the adjusters on the headlight assembly.

There's a spring clip that has to snap into place properly, otherwise the light will "seem" to be aimed the wrong way. Also, be careful, depending on how close the light is to the plastic assembly (assuming is is not fully installed into it's slots), it is possible to melt the housing.
