Motorweek tv show had a regular segment called Goss's garage that had a really good description on how and what to lubricate on the convertible top. Also mentioned the best lubricants in their oppinion. Segment was on the 2009 benz sl & the 2009 Nissan Murano crossover so it should be back on. It's on the speed channel in my area.
