I noticed my temp guage was creeping over the half way mark, so I turned on my heater full blast. I remember from the old days that if your car starts to overheat, turn on the heater because basically there is another "radiator" for the heater with a fan blowing across it to bring heat into the car. Temp dropped below the half way mark by a good 1/16" or more.
