Default Re: load equalizer HID dash warning light

yeah i am thinking i will try out a couple just hate to waste time and money. some say try out like 15-25 ohm resistor but not a fan of resistor as they get extremely hot, where caps do not. both will show a load to the computer so it will trick the computer.I will try the caps first since they are a better solution, i know i won't have issues with the hid or any flickering since i am not tapping into the stock power. the only issue i will have is the warning light on the dash just like the people that swap out to LEDS

Incase anyone is intrested instead of going through a full retrofit and swapping the projectors for HID versus halogen since the one that the crossfire comes with are valeo's and they aren't bad quality. Also our headlights are a ***** to get into since the compound they use to seal them up with. I plan to use H7 to D2s adapters and use phillips 85122+ bulbs along with infiniti g35 ballast, I am looking at $150 for the ballast and they are made by OEM matsushita. i will use a relay harness along with a capacitor for a complete stock and safe install. I retrofitted acura tsx projectors along with g35 ballast and 85122+ bulbs in my acura vigor. Now i can't live without HID, if anyone is needing a hookup on parts i have a vendor who gives me a killer deal on all parts. For example:

Pair of ballast G35, used bulbs, pigtails, and igniters: $150 shipped
bulbs brand new phillips 85122+ 4300k: $40.

i have used this guy many times and great stuff also you are getting waterproof oem ballast versus junk aftermarket. Phillips/Osram make the best stuff along with matsushita and Hella. My total with my hookup is coming out to around $250 for ballast, 2 used bulbs, 2 new bulbs, harness, and adapters. I know i can get cheap ebay hid kits for around 125-200, but i prefer quality and OEM parts last much longer.

Hit me up if you guys need help, I am new to the board but when i comes to electronics like Carputers, Systems, Alarms, Remote starts, HID, i have a good chunk of knowledge. I will later post up pics of my old car in which i had custom molded a VGA touchscreen lcd, hooked up into a mini-itx carputer for nav, music, video and other crap running on XP. I plan to do the samething to the crossfire very soon but instead use a flip out screen

well thats it, wish i could talk more but i am sitting here in a Ritz carlton getting ready for interview with Ernst & Young. Wish me luck about to graduate soon with a double major in Finance & Economics. Needed to get on crossfire forums to releave some stress and calm down lol.

here is another members carputer
