Using the autostick is wonderfully simple. Put it in first. stomp on the gas and HOLD ON! The car will run every gear right up to red line and then shift. If you are crusing you just down shift a gear or two and get on it. The transmission will not let you hurt it. If you try to shift to something that will over rev it will not do it. It will pick the safe gear and take off.

I just went over 7K on my SSB and it is a noticable change. The car feels stronger and quicker. Cant quantify the change very well. The best I can say is that when I got the Aero with 22K miles on it, I noticed that it was much quicker on take offs and at speed acceleration than the SSB which was new. I went so far as to pulling the panel off next to the gas pedal and checking to see if it had a Sprint Booster installed.

Have fun with your new car and be safe.

I spent a year and a half in NW Cape at the US Navy base back in '68-'69. I wish I had the Crossfire back then. Lots of empty roads. But too many dang 'roo's. I was driving a Holden that looked much like a '57 Chevy.
