Of course the belt manufacturers admonish us to never use any type of belt dressing. I’ve used it successfully on other applications (the riding mower!), but it’s obviously a bandage instead of a cure. Since you’re going to try it anyway…;-)


Mine has an occasional metallic ‘screech’ that comes and goes as the miles pass. It’s coming from the clutch interface, not the belt.

C3P has a belt wrap kit currently being tested that increases the belt’s arc of contact and perhaps reduces the tensioner’s deflection to better accommodate the relative lengthening of the belt from his pulley.
