Default Re: 722 hp srt-6

new SLK chassis is not 'exactly' the same as the previous(one which the SRT-6 is built upon)

i can't be EXACTLY certain, but a fairly reliable source(family friend works at daimler) claims the new SLK 350 chassis is actually quite different from ours/SLK32.

it is better-suited for the weight requirement of the 5.5L V8, though the 3.2 and 5.5 have so many similarities. even the V12 in the 65's have similar dimensions. hence the utilization of the same car SL, CL and S-clasees being able to hold every option of engine eg. SL55, SL65 - CL55, CL65 - E350,E55, E550 etc

obviously dimensions must be similar between the 5.5 and 3.2 since we can fit the SL55 intake system on! but 2more liters of engine will make quite a difference in weight, and therefore suspension requirements and engine mounts.
