It might... I'm not sure how closely the crossfire's ECU monitors that sort of thing. Less sophisticated cars (meaning, fewer electronics) have gotten away with running several degrees cooler, but I'm not sure how the MB electronics would take to that sort of thing.

One thing to keep in mind, though, is that car's engines were designed to run at a specific temperature. The Crossfire's engine seems to run a little hot compared to some other cars... but in this application, that is perfectly acceptable.
