The standard M112 V6 engine uses a forged steel crank, "hydraulically cracked" hollow forged connecting rods, pressure cast aluminum block and a rigid 90 degree design (same as the M113 V8). The bottom end is robust enough to add a blower! I've also read the M112/M113 bottom ends are good for 250,000 miles before needing a rebuild.

Instead of adding a blower, buy the SRT model that includes a beefed up tranny, brakes and suspension.

But then you lose the cool articulating rear wing!
