While I liked the sound of the stock exhaust with the top down, I didn't care for the lack of sound. I wanted a bit more aggressive sound, especially after pulling up alongside various 350Zs and G35s and listening to their exhaust. Now, with the Magnaflow cat-back I not only have a wonderful symphony emanating from the tailpipes but the volume is perfect and it now sounds even better than the Z/G cousins.
