I don't know the intimate details of whose toes were stepped on, or who infringed on whose copyrights, but if a trademarked (and I would suppose that "Crossfireforum.org" and "CICCI" are now considered that) item or image is offered for sale, a reasonable percentage should be offered to the owners organization.
BUT, if they are offered for distribution at little or no profit margin, and the main purpose is to spread the word, as it were, about the organization, I feel that no one should be too offended. This is in reference ONLY to the Crossfire.org items. Some one put a bit of effort, as I understand it, in making/altering the fonts to make them in the first place.
In the case of, for lack of a better term, "generic" items such as the "3.2 L V6 Powered by Mercedes Benz" badges These should be dealt with separately in the "Items For Sale" section. Copyrights are there for a good reason and should not be abused, but for the good of the club, (no/low profit) might be ignored.

I'm just happy that folks are making the bleedin' things and I am able, for a modest cost, adorn my xFire with them and at the same time spread the word.
