I would like to own one too. Most folks think they are junk though.

One of my buddies' father-in-law is a certified Delorean tech from 20+ years ago. He still gets them in his shop from time to time. The last one I saw in there was, in his words, 'coming apart at the seams.' From what I gathered, they used a great deal of adhesive to hold panels/pieces together and after a couple of decades, the adhesive is beginning to fail.

There is one that has been sitting in a driveway for 2 years about 10 miles away from me. I've been debating on knocking on the door to inquire. The wife would not be happy if she came home and there was a stainless, gullwinged car in the garage.
