Gundam 00 on Scifi Channel
Premiering in October 2007, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is the 11th and latest Gundam TV series. Directed by Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Dai-Guard), the series is set in 2307 AD, using the real world Anno Domini calendar rather than a fictional one.
In this future setting, the world is divided between three great superpowers, and a delicate balance of power is maintained with the orbital elevators that each superpower possesses. War is still common, and the private military group Celestial Being seeks to eradicate wars through the armed intervention of Gundam mobile suits.
Protagonist Setsuna F. Seiei is a member of Celestial Being and pilots the Gundam Exia as one of its "Gundam Meisters."
The second season jumps forward five years to 2312 AD, where Celestial Being rises from the ashes to confront the oppression of the Earth Sphere Federation's A-Laws task force.
Other staff includes character designer Yun Kouga (Loveless), writer Yousuke Kuroda (Excel Saga, Dual!) and mechanical designers Kanetake Ebikawa (Full Metal Panic!, Strain) and Takayuki Yanase (Zegapain, Toward the Terra).
The second season is airing in Japan. The first season began airing in the U.S. on the Sci-Fi Channel on Monday, November 24th, at 11:00PM EST. A U.S. home video release from Bandai Entertainment is scheduled for sometime in 2009.

My personal opinion of Gundam 00: I've seen the first four episodes in english, and all I can say is that Gundam 00 is awesome, in addition I have the entire first season as well as a few episodes of the second season, in Japanese, with english fansubs, downloaded onto my laptop.
I would highly recommend that anyone who is into anime watch Gundam 00, as mentioned above, it airs on the Sci-Fi Channel, on Mondays at 11:00PM EST
Also before anyone thinks that the episodes that I've downloaded are pirated, they aren't. Since I downloaded the episodes before the series was copyrighted/registered in the U.S, it is legal for me to have them on my laptop.
