As I understand it:

Each TPMS sensor must be "taught" individually:
  • A preset "Normal Pressure" i.e. 30 psi.
  • A "window" of error. i.e. + or- 15% or 4.5 psi for a "norm" of 30 psi.
But that's how it was explained to me by the tech at my dealer.

And he said they will warn of too high a pressure also. IDK.
