SD, pull the codes 1st, see what that tells. engine lts can be a lot of things, sometimes as simple as your gas cap isn't tight...so don't panic until you know...autos shouldn't shift rough, in fact, they are very smooth shifting, so if the car is running rough, that may make it seem to shift rough...you can do some of the things suggested above...certainly do clear the ECU from time to time, that is a difinite thing to do, but that isn't your problem w/ a code...let us all know if we can help steer you in the right direction and welcome back.....
