I just bought my car on Saturday. I didn't get pulled over by the cops, yet! I work in law enforcement so I shouldn't have a problem! he he he... I did get asked in the bank drive-thru through the intercom what kind of car did I have? I started laughing! The woman said, "That looks like a porsche boxster." I said no it's a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire. She said it was beautiful. I drove off with lots of other customers in the drive-thru gazing at me driving away. It was a good feeling!!

What is the strangest reason that the cops have given you for being pulled over while driving the Crossfire?

This morning, on my way into work, a cop pulled me over, after he walked up to my window and I showed him my liscanse, for some reason he didn't ask for my registration, but then he asked the following:
"Sir, I've never seen a vehicle like this, is it a prototype, or some sort of concept car?"

Needless to say I was not expecting a question like that, so I told him that it's a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire. He asked me if they were still selling them, and I told him that the last one rolled off the asembly line in May of 2008, and told him that he might be able to get a used one, then he let me go on my way...[/quote]
