you can probably get way with it... I also have a LT1 supercharged Corvette I run a 180 in it, the performance gains you would get quite honestly are negligable...

I haven't logged the Crossfire intake temperatures, but finding a way to chill the intake charge would probably warrant more performance than the thermostat would... There are a few folks working on that mod.
