Have a look at a map. To drive the length of GB is (a lot) less than driving from San Diego, CA to Portland, OR, assuming you want to travel that distance anyway. On my map the area north of the Watford Gap is blank and marked, "There be dragons!" :lol:

Then factor in petrol at $5.45 a US gallon. (Based on 80p a litre and $1.80 to the Pound).

Now you see why we're not in a rush to go anywhere :lol:
