Sorry for not getting to your questions everyone. All of your concerns are pretty much the same. It sounds like Engine heat is a big one. Also some concerns about Air restriction. By the way the picture that Mr. Burns has, is old and the only reason I posted it, was I wanted to get a feel for if any one would take any interest. It wasn't actual product. However did work nicely.
As far as everyone's theories on how the heat distribution works. I can only go with the wind tunnel test. Air from the out side being pulled, or pushed however you want to say it. Get's pushed around the engine body, down the heat shield (front & back) and through the opening's were your transmission meets your engine block. Right next to your headers. They make it that way so air will blow past your headers in the attempt to air cool them as much as possible.
Opening up the plastic lower grille covers, isn't going to give it that much more air. If heat is everyone's biggest concern, I also made heat deflectors out of carbon fiber for the cone filters.
Mr. 2004Xfire. I infact did beat a Z06. Yes I understand it should have blew me off the road. It's not my fault the guy couldn't drive his 400+HP machine. My brother too also has a 01 Z06.
All in all, you will all talk trash until I post my print out of my dyno scores. (Stock to Mod) And prove to all of you there is an improvement. Then you will do a 180 and all be asking to for one. That day is coming very soon. Its already been bench tested on an EPA machine. I'm not going to even tell you the HP gains and smog legal.
For Performance chips call Renntech, or Upsolute.
