I wonder why the XF would need better brakes if it can still only reach 155mph. The braking force required depends on the momentum of the car rather than its BHP.
If you are doing 100 mph with 215 bhp or 100 mph with 400bhp the braking effort required will depend on the momentum. I would expect the 400bhp car to only require improved brakes if it is significantly heavier or has a higher top speed. Better brakes mean you can keep going faster for longer.
A more powerful car might need more rubber contact to the road, (and of course a relocated cup holder).
Let me know why you think brakes need to be improved. I think the brakes on mine are fantastic!!
I also have no problems with the steering. XF goes where I point it.
