sounds expensive, and they will have to meet the "bid standards" of municipalities, cities, towns, state, and feds...none of them can ever agree on what they need or don't need...most police cars are purchased from the bidding process, in the 18k-25K range, then equipped which can easily run another 10-12k...so if it is marketed in the fully equipped and ready to rock and roll mode, 36-38K, that would prolly sell, but don't forget, it will have to pass the rigid crash tests to even be considered....Chevy was sued when the first Impala's were implemented for brake failures...Dodge had problems as well...there's a lot that goes into this process...sounds good, but they aren't the first to try this...
