Lightbulb Making a Cargo Cover. How hard can it be?

Failing to find any cargo covers for sale, I am going to make one myself. As this is nothing more than a old fashioned window roller blind with a fancy price, how hard can it be? It certainly has to be cheaper, similar Mercedes parts are really pricey.

If I can find a black or dark grey blind of a suitable size I should be half way there. Some of these blinds come with valances, so that's what I want, so long as it is small enough in section. I am thinking that it can be fitted to the same mounting holes as the original Mopar part. Some of these old roller blinds had to be cut to size, if I cannot get one of the correct size I will have to do that.

The hardware that holds the pulled out end of the blind will be easy, the original Mopar parts were quite crude.

Now to find the correct blind to start with. I will post updates as I go along.

If anyone has one for sale, let me know.
