Another "feature" not mentioned so far is the fact that the car cranks by it's self till it starts. Just turn the key momentarily to the START position, let go, and the car will continue to crank till the car starts. Try it. Saves me at least 20 secs a week!
Don't know how long it will crank cuz my car starts pretty quick.
If only my sister's escape had it, she just keeps going till the starter motor makes grinding noises, the sound kills me. I'm amazed it hasn't broken yet, especially because it is a ford. Very cool feature, also found in mercedes
