the last 6 digits of the vin do not provide information on how many crossfires were made in a given year. however, the 10th digit in the vin does specify the year. a "4" represents a 2004 model and a "5" is a 2005. crossfires have been numbered sequentially since inception. so somewhere around 025000, the 10th digit switched from 4 to 5 signifying the model year change. unless they make more than 1 million of them, the numbering should continue sequentially.

crossfirechick, based on your vin# your roadster would be considered to be a relatively early 2005 production year model. #027652 is neither good nor bad, but at least it is unique.
