Ironic, I have been looking into this for several weeks now and you are correct.

I was hoping it would be as simple as a neg pulse up and one for down however that is not the case.

The shifter is integrated through canbus. Well there goes the easy aspect about adding it (read.. cheap)

Still possible however, still one of my goals.
