I've owned dozens of cars, mostly Nissans, Infinitis, Cadillacs, Mazdas, and a couple BMWs. You might recognize me from CadillacOwners.com, NICOClub, or Q45.org.

I took it all over the Tampa Bay area, crossing the bay on 275, Gandy, and some other bridge. I also drove along the Gulf coast. The weather was perfect, but the car has several flaws: IC pump failing, corroded wire harness, water leak (fixed, which caused harness problem), non-functioning wipers (fixed, loose connection), non-functioning vacuum locks (related to harness issue). All of this is pretty ridiculous for an expensive car with 25,000 miles, but I have low expectations for modern-era MB so I'm not surprised.

The dead pedal is terrible -- my left leg can barely reach, but my right leg can reach the pedals just fine. I'm 5'7".

Overall I really enjoy the car! The drive home was a blast. Once the issues are fixed I might even love it. An aftermarket extended warranty was included.
Welcome to the Forum and the exciting world of Benz "the best engineered cars in the world" just not reliably assembled.

Hope you have a chance to get in on the St Louis Group GTG as we have a lot of fun.

And, if you get tired of fixing your step child, post it here, lots of folks would be interested.
