Re: Making a Cargo Cover. How hard can it be?
When I first purchased my car, I wanted a cargo cover. Then my parts guys told me what they cost and he couldn't believe it either.
Then I realized that you would loose a lot of storage room if you only loaded your hatch area to the shade height. When we travel, the shade would be useless, when you need it most. My rear window was already dark tinted when we bought the car, and it is hard to see in there to begin with. I gave up on the cargo cover idea.
If you guys fabricate a cover, make it extra long so it can hump up over items (suitcases, travel bags, etc...) that you are traveling with.
