What is all this talk about the stabilizer? Do these go bad quick or are these aftermarket ones?

My ride only has 15k but there is a bit of understeer or light steer. Given that the turning radius on these cars is so short I just thought that it came with the territory but if the road has any indentation or groove it pulls the car quite easily.

Will an upgrade like this address this?
