i've used various polishes and waxes over the years and most of them provide an excellent shine and extremely smooth surface when applied to a clean finish. i'm not doubting that the products that have teflon in them don't provide a nice shine - just like many other non-teflon products. but does anyone believe that it has anything to do with the teflon? if dupont says it won't stick to anything unless it's heated to 700F, how can it stick to your car's finish?

i guess what i'm saying is that while there might not be anything wrong with product containing teflon, i wouldn't pay more for one thinking that there is any benefit from the teflon.
