actually, I'd not thought it through to the point of knowing how long a trip it'd be ... of course, that varies depending on where one lives, but for us in NoCal, a lot depends on how long you'd take to drive to Vegas or back ... the course I'm looking at most favorably right now is almost 300 miles llong which I'd say should be broken in two ... otherwise, it becomes too much of a chore to get it done and the pleasure is lessened ...

so, if it's two down, two there and two back, yeah, it's the best part of a week long trip ...
