Default Re: 2004/2005 Crossfires Used and Warranties

I purchased a used (second owner) '06 base model with 9,000 miles on the factory 36,000 mile warranty. At the time of purchase I opted for the extended warranty (bumper to bumper) which unless I'm mistaken includes power train, good for a total of 96,000 miles.
It is transferable to the next owner upon a $100.00 transfer fee.
I would assume the same circumstances would apply for an '04 uear but its probobly pretty rare as not too many of us suckers go for the extended warranty bit .

I find it strange that any manuf. would offer a warranty not covering powertrain...whats the point?
