'what's old got to do with it', I responded ...

well, I'm older now alright ... the good sense thing is still in question but the experience of having a soft top for me was this ...

cold or wet weather - top up

really hot weather - top up

going anywhere in any weather with MrsS in the car - top up
(my hair is getting messed up ... please, PLEASE put the top up)

AND, when I bought my Crossfire, I was able to work out a really really good deal on a coupe ... a LOT better deal than on the soft top that was sitting right next to it ...

so, it came down to this: heart may tell me I still really want a soft top but my head, my wallet my past experience and my wife all tell me I'm really happier with the coupe ...
