Default Re: Out of my curiosity...

As someone who has owned both (2004 SSB Coupe, 2006 Limted Roadster) I find that I like the roadster a little better. Some car models really suffered when the manufacturer developed a roadster version in terms of comofort, body stiffness, weight, etc., but I think the execution of the crossfire roadster by Karmann was particularly good.

I also think that if you view this car as a sports car or GT, then you don't mind the noise, etc. of the roadster. I actually think you give up very few creature comforts with this car in convertible form. For those owners that switched to the Crossfire from Accords and Buicks, I could see where the coupe would be more comfortable..

As far as styling, I really like the lines of the roadster. With the top down, it is simply stunning. Some other models ended up with hideous roadster renditions of attractive coupes.

I live in Ohio, so unlike you guys in Texas, Florida, Cali, etc. I have limited top down days. But it's still my daily driver, and I love it. I soldiered through many a winter in MGBs, TR6s, Fiats, etc. So the Crossfire is pretty damn nice IMHO.
