Default Re: Ding & Dent Removal

I had a palm sized dent in my passenger sail panel. The dent tech. couldn't reach the dent from behind without removing the trim panel and drilling which I wasn't keen on. I watched as he used a hot glue gun to attach a rubber nib to the center of the dent and then attach the nib to a device that pulled the nib upwards. He repeated this several times and the panel looks amazing. No harm to the paint and the compound curve to the panel is perfect. He also removed a very shallow ding in the passenger door, by manipulating a curved rod between the window and the door panel. The whole procedure took 20 minutes, in my driveway (yes a house call!) and he asked for $30. I gave him $50 and hope I don't have to call him again, but if I do I know he'll be back in a flash.
