I've been at or over 130mph twice, this week.

Christmas Eve --> 130 on a 65 on a city highway... because it felt great.
Christmas night --> 132 on a 45 on a reasonably-empty-but-usually-extremely-busy city street that I've always wanted to fly down... I was being toyed with by a BMW 6-series, (by which I mean we both knew I had no chance of competing.) I got a head start, and between 90 and 110, we were neck and neck. For those couple of seconds, I felt great. At just over 130, we flew by a well hidden police officer, who was radar-ing. I didn't wait to see any flashing lights: At the next intersection I flew left and the 6 flew right. I drove to the end of a dark cul-de-sac and shut off my car and lights. I sat there for about 10 minutes, let my heart slow down, took the long way home.
Take the I35 speedway southbound from 87 to I435 around 2 AM.
You can see the road clearly - make sure you take the exit from 87
Street. That's the ultimate launching pad. You can easily get over
110 MPH by the merge onto the highway. Able to get up to 140 in my
SRT6 before I reached 435. After that you can't see much in front of you and beware the deer.

Hope to see you around some day. Met up with only one other Crossfire in southern Johnson County who definitely did not want to play.
