No, I'm not in the retail business but I'd like to address your question from another angle. The liberal news media typically likes to paint a bad picture of retail business at Christmas. When internet retail became popular, they blamed the internet for soft brick and mortar store sales. This year, the news didn't say anything about the internet but chose to blame the economy. On the radio news I heard (several times), the vey next story was how Amazon had their best Christmas ever. I did 95% of my Christmas shopping online.
