Thanks, I know about his thread as well as the few others and have been actively involved in them. But the answers are scattered and this serves as a tally amongst all of those forums as well to encourage those who have done it and have not stated their results, which I'm sure there are plenty, to answer the simple poll.

For me, the alarm siren sounds but no chirp. But I have the original siren, so I won't answer the poll. I installed the RadioShack buzzer in my fuse box but it is very weak and doesn't work when very cold. So would gladly replace my siren, I don't think they would go for it under warranty, if I knew everyone who did it now has a chrip.
