Question Re: Shorter seat - Tall Man Conversion

Virgin posting here. I am 6' 2" as well, and tried a Crossfire two years ago, only to leave the vehicle (2005 roadster with power seats) swearing at Chrysler for having such a great car that clearly would not fit even a 72 inch driver. To my great surprise, I tried another 'new' 2005 crossfire (coupe, simple seats) and was shocked to have a full inch of headroom clearance. Knowing that I have not shed 3", I must assume that the base seat gives some additional headroom, and the flip top must take up some more.
My question is - how much higher are power and / or heated seats compared to base cloth seats? Could I replace my cloth seats with leather / power / heated seats without loss of headroom?
