I had a rear caliper dragging on my SRT (8K miles) - took it to the dealer (under warranty) and had it replaced. I noticed it because of increased brake pad dust on one rear wheel. Ironically, the new caliper was silver (the other 3 black), so I ended up painting all the calipers.....I do not remember any associated noise with it - just dust.
