Would it be any dumber to put Gremlin on the back?
It two was a POS from the not far enough past.
And it has as much to do with the Crossfire as an AMX.
By the way 35 years ago I used a 400 small block from a 69' AMX to build one kick a$$ of a street car. So please don't attempt a history lesson on AMX's.
The crossfire has nothing in commom with bell bottoms, polyester shirts and crappy door handles. Let the AMX go.
Happy Motoring...

Mike if you can't see the statistical similarities, then there's probably no need to read any further.
Actually I doubt if anybody who's never owned or even driven a 68/69/70 AMX can really fully understand the method behind our madness. But to those of us who own or have owned an AMX, it's abundantly clear as to why we feel the way we do about these two cars. With their size, handling, maneuverability, and performance being so close it's just a given.
There is only two of us (here on the forum) who rebadged our cars in this method, so what's your problem with it? The last time I checked, it's still a free country.
It sounds like you and Voyager may have a few issues you need to address.
I think Jim (AMX1397) and I simply see it as another form of self expression, and just another way we enjoy our cars. When you think about it, we probably don't confuse other drivers any more than Crossfire owners who debadge their cars just to keep everybody guessing.
Being a nonconformist is probably one of the reasons many of us find the Crossfire so desirable.
