Sierra Vista International Crossfire Club (SvICC) 1st Meeting
I know this may come as a surprise to all of you but it was bound to happen. With this forum branching off into rogue clubs we at the newly formed Sierra Vista International Car Club or SvICC (pronounced "sick") have decided that it was in our best interests to branch out and start our own club to protect and preserve
our
dedication and interest in this fantastic car.
Club president Pat and club vice president DJ were the only members in attendance for the first meeting. A GREAT time was had by all!
ACTIVITIES:
Formal introductions were made after meeting at a predetermine location.
Viewed each others cars and discussed similarities and differences (did you know that the base model has more leg room!!?).
Chit-chatted and discovered that we both work for the same company, just in different areas! How cool is that?
Time for a ride! First Pat took me for a ride in his 6 speed demon of a car. As he snapped through the gears I wondered if maybe he neglected to release the parking brake as the acceleration was not as spirited as I remember my car's acceleration to be. Oh wait, he has the NA version thus the six speed, silly me!
Next we went for a spin in the SRT. Needless to say the ride was a bit quicker. We got sideways once or twice, spun a tire or two and returned.
Now it's time for photos! Check em out! (sorry, camera pics).

We adjourned the meeting stating that we would probably see each other around on the street or at work some time.
CLUB NOTES:
Forgot to discuss club dues
Forgot to discuss membership "levels"
We forgot to promise not to "borrow" content from this forum should we start our own forum
Hey Pat, I noticed that the Summer/Winter switch was in the Winter position! So I owe ya another ride cuz every time we started we were in second gear! No wonder the tires weren't spinning so much!
