I almost bought a "new" 06 earlier this year. I wanted the lifetime warranty and, as I was finishing the paperwork, they told me that it was "new" in the eyes of the DMV but "used" in the eyes of Chrysler. As I understand it, some of the dealers were given cash from Chrysler to take Crossfires and they were considered by Chrysler to have been "sold" to the dealer and considered used for warranty purposes. I don't know if the one on EBay falls under that category or not but that might explain it. The lifetime warranty may not count for much these days anyway since the car will likely outlive the car company.
