Marky: I am somewhat in the same predicament and comparing all the brands. The conti's have less then 20,000 mile's but I am informed that no matter what brand or type the best I will see is 25,000.
Given that pehaps it's better to think cheap with a softer compound for more grip and better ride. The Kumho, Cooper and of the Michelins are top of my narrow list. Sticker shock on the rear Michelins and knowing I 'd to do this again in the next year is a killer. Good luck there! in your shopping.
Remember softer better ride and traction, harder compound longevity except with 35 series tires
