Default Stock Stereo Amp question concerning Pre-amp

I've been wanting to change my car audio speakers for some time now, and I've decided on Pioneer for my speaker system change. I'm getting 2x12" shallow subs for my car from a friend and I'm hoping they'll fit in the compartment behind the seats where the other speakers are mounted, I think the gas tank is in that compartment but I'm not sure. Can anyone clarify this for me? also, the subs have a mounting depth of 3-1/4", so I think they'll fit back there, if not then they're going in the rear compartment. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...low/TS-SW1241D these are the subs I'm planning on mounting. The minimum on them is 350-watts a piece, and I dont know if or think that the stereo amp that came with my crossfire will sustain them. I figured I needed to get a 800-1000W range amp for them. But I dont know if the stock stereo has a pre-amp feature - I'm pretty sure it does but I don't know for sure and I'm not going to rip out my stereo to check. I'm not really a car tech guy and I'm going to have it installed professionally, but some opinions and information about this subject would be most appreciated!
