There is a MB tool - it does help - basically a spark plug wrench with a universal joint on the end.
There's a couple of write-ups on the forum - they do help - I have attached one (gloves optional).
Small hands REALLY help.
FYI, the plugs are supposedly good for about 100/120 thousand miles
you can get the same generic tool at any parts store for $5.00
