Re: List of Bad Dealerships
Zimmer Chrysler in Burlington, KY. They had my car for two weeks to double check it after my accident because the car was still pulling to the left after the body shop had stretched the frame and shop number 1 performed an alignment. They performed a new alignment on the car and checked it against the specs they had for the car. When all numbers did not come back green they "tweaked" them so that they were. Then they proceeded to lie to me, the body shop, and my insurance company saying the car was 100% right, instantly came back with all numbers green and in spec and the pulling was due to my front left tire being slightly more worn down than the front. Also they told the insurance company they had worked on many crossfires and were the experts.... they had worked on 3 prior to mine according to the tech who actually was doing the work on my car(he was told to tweak the numbers by his manager).... In other words rather than doing what they were suppose to be doing and checking over the frame and all measurements for anything still bent they did a simple alignment and when it didn't fix the problem found a scape goat to get it out of their shop. The body shop ended up taking the car completly back apart and found the part of the uni body that meets with the a arm was bent a 1/2 inch. stretched that and it was fixed
