I would like to humbly add that the boost would not drop with the better manifolds, but infact increase.

THis too sounds bass ackwards, so allow me to explain using an ASSUMPTION. I wonder if you might be sensing the boost at the wye pipe? Many are.

If that is correct, the larger manifolds with their LARGER inlet pipes flow better. This reduces the wye pipe pressure due to the BACKUP of the air flow into the manifolds. Sort of a standing wave or turbulance bump.

Conversly if you were sensing at the manifolds you should see a higher pressure ( peak) due to better delivery from the wye to the manifold(s).

Later this year I hope to take receipt of a bigger manifold set. After I get the manufacturer the info for his benefit, Ill show you how I will increase their rated flow by approximately 40%. Pressure gradients are very much related to time (the passage of time).
