That's actually a good question. Some of the forum members have found M-B parts that fit their XF's perfectly.
I suggest you visit your local M-B dealer with the XF VIN and ask if they can order the laser cut key for you. If they can, the programming instructions are in the forum -- do a search.
Let us know the outcome. This may/may not be a cost savings for others. I know I paid Chrysler $140 just for a key.
